During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Eastern Depot’s eunuch Lu Anning sought the legendary elixir from the Queen of Luodian’s tomb to restore his manhood. He framed Grand Preceptor Fu Yungao, leading to his clan’s massacre, but Fu’s grandson, Fu Xiaoyao, escaped. Jin Doudou, last saintess of Luodian, unknowingly held the key—her blood. She aided fugitives and crossed paths with Fu Xiaoyao, forming an alliance against Lu Anning. Betrayed by courtesan Yan Pianpian, Fu was gravely wounded but later returned, exposing enemy spies. Deciphering the treasure map, they found they needed a special compass. Their search led them into a deadly desert mirage, strengthening their bond. Upon returning, they were forced to lead Lu Anning to the tomb under duress. A sandstorm wiped out his forces, leaving only a handful alive. Inside the tomb, Lu Anning was trapped, and Jin Doudou claimed the antidote. Just as they found the elixir, he resurfaced, killing their guardian. At the last moment, a hidden master struck him down, ensuring their safety. The treasury, however, contained only artifacts from the Central Plains, revealing the Queen’s longing for home. As they left, rain miraculously ended Longmen’s drought, guiding them back. With their enemies gone, Fu Xiaoyao and Jin Doudou embraced their new life together.
